Designing for North America Digital Brand

Creative Role: Senior Designer

Featured are strategy, process, & design selects from my time designing for Nike.COM (North America). I work closely on this channel presently and have been since 2020.

Our team + agency achieved this channel work with the original task of production. We further pursued the challenge to show our capacity as a full service creative & conceptual force as well.

Documentation & Templates

Information about the templates and documentation and how it was developed. Use Narvar with specs as. hero.

rior to Spring 2021, Nike’s Promo gradients were an established template: a 1-tone top-to-bottom gradient. After understanding the needs of the promo (to be omnichannel, feature client, and be regocnizably Nike across both on-site and off-site activations) I proposed a gradient mesh style update.

After achieving internal buy-in and input, we were able to provide this new solution from our Nike partners—finalizing this more engaging style.

Highlights: Shop The Look

Discussion of STL tout, which was provided to Nike by the agency that built the system, but had barriers in utilization. Discuss creation of mockups, troubleshooting, and achievement on major campaign moments.

the gradient mesh as a starting point, we had more doors open to iterate and do more concept work—evolving the template work that that would have previously been considered production.

As a senior creative, it is my true belief that small opportunities to surprise and delight clients can turn into trust—and larger creative buy-in that benefits all involved.

Highlight: Engagement Boosters / Bluecore

Introducing new styles didn’t mean we stopped delivering excellent, elevated work in the format the client already loved. Our continued partnership now has the opportunity to be more creative and fulfilling for both client and agency designers.
